From Jack to Gin
All great things have a story & this is ours.
Despite numerous attempts to purchase pubs around this centre of the universe, the gods were conspiring against me. Never to be discouraged I went and built my own. So with a few years of collecting Jack and a liking for Gin I created Jack & Gin's.
Then the very clever lady found a cool sign in an antique shop with a great story. The dog and partridge still exists but this, the most discerning of places deserved more. There is only one glen and thus the dog in the glen was born.
For those in the know, the old bar closed due to the sudden need to restore an old wreck (not my liver yet). However, an expanded venue is on the cards….for all you dogs, there is a temporary option….although the lady will tell you otherwise. Life for me is a story and this is what the bar is about.
You're here because you're friends and family...and we like drinking with you! I hope this becomes part of your story. if you're lucky enough to visit, make some memories and next time... bring some bloody booze!!
